Jennifer Lopez is looking back at an old song that may or may not be taking on new relevance in her life.
The "Let's Get Loud" singer, 54, on Sunday marked the three-year anniversary of her track "Cambia El Paso," which she released in July 2021 in the wake of her split from Alex Rodriguez.
"Happy Anniversary Cambia El Paso," she wrote on Instagram, sharing a portion of the music video.
In the song, Lopez sings in Spanish about how "he doesn't deserve to have her in his arms" and "her life is better now without him." The track also includes the lyrics, "She's staying single. Now she makes love to whoever she wants."
Lopez's post marking the anniversary of "Cambia El Paso" comes amid speculation about the state of her marriage to Ben Affleck.

In a 2021 interview on SiriusXM, Lopez said the song is "about change" and "not being afraid to take the step."
"Just take the step," Lopez added. "Advance. Do what you need to do. If something's not feeling right, whatever it is in your life, just make that move and dance."

At the time, it had been less than three months since Lopez and Rodriguez confirmed they were ending their engagement. In a statement shared with the Today show, they said they "realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so."
"We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects," they said. "We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."

Lopez subsequently rekindled her relationship with Affleck, and the two wed in 2022. She has not addressed speculation of strain in the marriage but raised eyebrows in May after attending the premiere of her movie "Atlas" without Affleck. Her co-star Simu Liu shut down a question about whether she and Affleck are divorcing during an event for the film.
"You know better than that," Lopez told the reporter.
In June, Lopez addressed online "negativity" amid the marriage rumors and after canceling her tour.
"It may seem like there's a lot of negativity out in the world right now … but don't let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there," she wrote in her newsletter.
